Join the Springer Jugglers! |
The Juggling Club meets every Wednesday from 7:45 AM to 8:25 AM (about) in the multi. Anyone in grades four and above can join, any time of the year. It is free to participate. It's actually not that hard to start juggling, and should you encounter any problems, the juggling teachers can get you through the bumps on the road. It can take only one year of being in this club for you to be able to learn several techniques, and even a few fancy tricks. Once you learn how to juggle 3 balls, you can spend the last 5 to 10 minutes of the class juggling with some cool objects including Chinese yo-yos, rings, clubs... The Juggling Club is a really fun club to try, and before you know it, you'll be juggling 3-4 balls at a time. Interested students (and parents) are encouraged to just drop in anytime. Any questions? Contact michael@vandevanter.org |
Lunchtime Activities – Funvisor Program |
Springer is one of the unique elementary schools in our district that has lunchtime activities for our kids. How many of your children have come home with a lanyard with runner tokens on it, a personal poem or story written in Scribes, or an artistic design to hang on their walls from Art Club? For years Springer has had programs open to all students at lunchtime where they enjoy being creative, learning new skills, and staying healthy. But we can’t do it with out your help. Make an impact on the Springer children. Please consider volunteering, 1 or 2 lunches per month, or more, for either: Art, Lego, Run4YourLife, Board Games, Garden, Scribes, Volleyball, and Yoga. Questions or need more information, email Jenni Tellefsen at jentellefsen@gmail.com |
