WOW

National Walk to School Day is Wednesday, October 3rd.  WOW stands for “Walk Or Wheels”, so let’s all get out and support our friends organizing the Walk to School Day!  Plus, if the WOW program is new to you, this is a great day to start!  Make sure you get your WOW tag so your walk or ride next Wednesday counts for the program.

WOW tip #1: Find a friend to walk or ride to school with once a week.  It will be safer and more fun than riding/walking alone!  Plus you can encourage each other to walk/ride more often.

WOW tags were passed out again this morning before school.   If your son/daughter still needs a tag, additional tags can picked up in the school office.   Please also remember to register your child’s new tag so they get credit for all their trips.

If you have any questions on this year’s WoW program, please feel free to contact the WoW Co-Captains: Kevin Beedon ksbeedon[at]gmail.com and Kacey Fitzpatrick kfitz@avalon-enterprises.com
