Springer Auction - Information for members of the Springer community

Hello and thank you for your interest in the Springer Auction! The auction is Springer's biggest fundraising party of the year, and we need you to help make it a success.

Never attended the auction before? Consult the FAQ. Otherwise, read on to learn about opportunities for you to be part of the excitement.


Type of participation What it involves What to do next
Attend the event Get that babysitter lined up for the evening! You'll enjoy great company, delicious food, and of course, get first dibs on the fabulous auction items.

  2. Buy a ticket with a check using this form or online
  3. Reserve babysitting at Abra if you need to, see flyer.
  4. If you can’t attend, consider a Proxy Ticket, fill out this form and purchase a Proxy Ticket online.
Volunteer The Springer Auction is an all-volunteer led event and we need your help to make it a success! Volunteer opportunities exist for before, during or after the event.

Donate an item or service

The sky's the limit on what can be donated. Examples are tickets to a sporting event, frequent flyer miles, or a week's stay at your timeshare. Read here for more ideas.

Donate a "party"

Love to cook? Know a lot about wines? Then consider hosting a themed party of your choice (e.g. wine tasting for 8) for the winners of your auction item. Historically, hosted parties have been one of the most popular items at the auction. Read here for more ideas.

NOTE:  Deadline, February 7, 2014

  1. Find friends that you would like to host a party with and brainstorm party ideas.

Select a date.  Do not schedule different kids' parties on the same day or different adult parties on the same day.  You should also review the school's calendar to make sure your party does not conflict with a planned school event.  Minimum days are great for kid parties or sports events.  Contact Rachel to confirm that your date is available.
