Celebrate your
child’s birthday by helping build the Springer School Library
Collection!
Springer
School has always had a Birthday Book Program. This year we
would like to organize two of
our programs into one. As in prior
years, our new Birthday Book Program will offer a way to enrich our
school
library while recognizing your child’s special day.
A permanent book plate will be placed in the
book chosen to honor the birthday.
During his or her birthday month, your child will be the first person
invited to check out the book. A picture
will also be taken of your child with his or her donated book and the
picture
will hang on the Library Birthday Book Board for the month.
Children with summer birthdays will be
recognized for their “half birthday”
month.
At the end of the month, the picture along with a Birthday Book Club
bookmark will go home with your son or daughter.
We
are asking you to join at the beginning of the school year.
To join the Birthday Book program, please
return this form to
the school office with your payment (made payable to the
Springer PTA) or include your payment on the Birthday Book Club line
included
in the Single Payment form in the beginning of school packet.
Whichever payment option you choose, BE SURE
TO RETURN THIS FORM AS WELL! Additional
copies are available in the school office and the library throughout
the year. By beginning at the start of the school year,
the library will be able to purchase books throughout the school year
and not
just after the Book Fair or Adopt-a-Book.
This program will take the place of Adopt-a-Book and the Birthday Book
Box that we use at this time.
Thank
you for supporting our library and sharing you child’s
special day with
us. Happy Reading.
