Book Fair

The Book Fair is a fundraising event that directly benefits the library. Held in late January or early February, a nationally recognized bookseller sets up shop on campus with thousands of new books for sale. The fair usually runs for one week. The profits from the book sale are used to purchase new books for Springer’s library.

Cartridge Recycling

Springer participates in a year-round ink cartridge and cell phone recycling program. This program is a small fundraiser for Springer but more importantly, it is good for the environment. Families can drop off used cell phones and empty inkjet, laser, fax, and copier cartridges in the recycling box at Springer. The school receives cash for each item that is recycled.

Hot Lunch

Springer’s PTA offers a hot lunch program to children in 1st through 6th grades. Parents may order lunches for their children for the upcoming session from the hot lunch website. Lunches consist of an entrée, a side dish (on some days), fresh fruit or Jamba Juice (on some days), and milk or water. Most Springer children participate in this popular program. Hot Lunch is both a service for families and an important fundraiser for the PTA.

School Supplies Program

Get your Back-to-School Supply Shopping out of the way! The School Supplies Program is a one-stop shopping service for your school supply needs. The PTA uses a third party provider to package all the supplies for you so you don’t need to run all over town over the summer searching for that hard-to-find item. The grade level supply lists are compiled and approved by our teachers. Ordering takes place in the Spring for the following school year.

Spirit Wear

Show your school spirit with Springer clothing and gear. Great for field trips. Orders for the popular tees, sweatshirts, and other Springer merchandise are taken for a limited time at the beginning of each school year.

Yearbook

You can purchase a yearbook as a treasured record of the school year. The yearbook comprises both class pages with individual pictures of each student and teacher as well as school events such as Walkathon, Science Fair, Halloween, and Wacky Hair Day. Individual student photos are supplied by our school photographer.
