Springer PTA

The Springer PTA, or Parent Teacher Association, is an organization of parents, teachers, and administrators working to promote children’s health, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement.

What Does PTA Do?

The Springer PTA:

Supports academics and enrichment opportunities at Springer School. PTA purchases instructional materials and supplies for the school. It facilitates art and music programs and classroom gardens. PTA provides funding to purchase new computers, laptops, and digital teaching stations. PTA also funds the noontime sports program and other lunchtime clubs, coordinates volunteers for the library, and funds the purchase of new library books.
Supports our teachers. PTA coordinates room parents and classroom volunteers, and PTA provides a stipend to each teacher for classroom items and teaching materials.
Supports your child by bringing parents and teachers together to promote the education, health, and well being of Springer students. PTA provides volunteer hours and financial support for hot lunch, assemblies, playground balls and equipment, emergency preparation supplies, and more.
Support Springer families. PTA helps to build a strong community by organizing fun family events like the Walkathon, Family Picnic, Boys and Girls Night Out, Movie Night, and Family Dinners Out. PTA publishes the Springer School directory to help families communicate and connect.
Support the Springer School campus. PTA supports the teaching garden for the Living Classroom Program, the district's hands-on science curriculum, and PTA funds facilities maintenance and improvements.

PTA Membership

Become an active member of your child’s school experience! Join the PTA today and support the programs, activities, and services that augment the Springer experience. High participation gives California PTA a stronger voice with our state government.

All parents are encouraged to join – we strive for 100% membership! Membership dues are $12.00 per adult family member. Your family’s first membership entitles you to a free Springer Directory, a bound, paper directory of contact information for the Springer community. In addition, the children in each member family receive a bonus lap at the school Walkathon. These are great perks, but the real value of being a Springer PTA member is being part of a strong state and national organization to help children thrive and learn.

How Do I Join?

Please complete the PTA Membership section of the Springer Family Payment Form. All contributions are tax-deductible, and donations to the Springer PTA are
eligible for corporate matching programs.
