Fundraisers

The Springer Auction is an important fundraising event where attendees can purchase donated items in silent and live bidding. Items for sale include getaway weekends, reserved parking spots, Principal for a Day, theme parties (Bunco Night, Maui Mixer, Italian Dinner, progressive dinners, etc.), and goods and services provided by local merchants. Donations from families are warmly welcomed and needed to make the event a success.

eScrip

The eScrip program is a great way for Springer families to raise money for our school simply by shopping with local merchants, such as Safeway and Andronico’s. The merchants donate a percentage of your shopping dollars to Springer PTA. We encourage every family to register their Safeway Club Card or ATM/credit card so that we can realize the full potential of this fundraising opportunity. Family Dinners Night Out

Have a fun dinner out with family and friends while generating money for Springer School. Springer families, relatives, and friends dine at a local, family-oriented restaurant on designated evenings, and Springer School receives a percentage of the night’s profits. There are approximately six events throughout the year. Watch for advertisements. If you’d like to recommend a restaurant that would generate high participation, please call the committee chairperson.

Hot Lunch

Springer’s PTA offers a hot lunch program to children in 1st through 6th grades. Parents may order lunches for their children for the upcoming session from the hot lunch website. Lunches consist of an entrée, a side dish (on some days), fresh fruit or Jamba Juice (on some days), and milk or water. Most Springer children participate in this popular program. Hot Lunch is both a service for families and an important fundraiser for the PTA.

Koski Photography

Making a $25 donation to Springer’s PTA Koski Photography Fundraiser entitles your family to a certificate for a portrait session (at your home, a local park, or the photographer’s studio) and an 8x10 color portrait. Springer’s PTA receives the entire $25 donation. Certificates are valid for one year. This program offers families a great value and excellent photos. Many Springer families have taken advantage of this program and have the lovely portraits to show for it. A $25 Koski Photography certificate also makes a great gift!

ShopSpringer.com

ShopSpringer.com is a shopping website that, with your use, creates revenue for the school at no cost to you. As you access some of your favorite online vendors through ShopSpringer.com and purchase items as usual, a percentage of your purchases is paid directly to our PTA. The percentage ranges from 4 - 12% and is paid by the vendors as finder’s fees for directing traffic to their sites.

Walkathon

The Springer Walkathon, one of the PTA's most important fundraisers, is a fun annual event, eliciting nearly 100% participation from Springer students. The event takes place on the Springer field. Most families stay for the entire event, coming early and leaving late.
