Parents and guardians are invited to visit their children’s classrooms to meet with the teachers and learn about what the year has in store for the students. At this important event, there are also sign ups for volunteer opportunities for the class, in areas such as the computer lab, library, writer’s workshop, and many more.

Kindergarten Information Night
This event is usually scheduled in the early winter. This meeting is for parents with children who are entering Kindergarten in the next school year. Come hear about Springer's Kinder program from the staff. We will also discuss the process of getting your child registered for the fall.
Book Fair
The Book Fair is a fundraising event that directly benefits the library. The profits from the book sale are used to purchase new books for Springer’s library.

Items for sale include getaway weekends, reserved parking spots, Principal for a Day, theme parties (Bunco Night, Maui Mixer, Italian Dinner, progressive dinners, etc.), and goods and services provided by local merchants. Donations from families are warmly welcomed and needed to make the event a success.

All Springer students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades are eligible to participate. It is usually held the last Saturday in April.
Springer's Annual Science Fair, or Science-O-Rama as it's known at Springer, is an opportunity for students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth to learn about and practice the scientific method in a project-based approach.
