Tickets

Tickets are $40.00 per person, a $5.00 increase from last year’s ticket price. The price of the ticket covers the appetizers. The PTA raises no funds by selling tickets; we depend on the proceeds of auctioned items.  Tickets will be for sale on campus about a month before the event.

You can’t attend the night of the auction?

If you can’t join us on the night of the event, please show your support by helping us offset the cost of the auction.  You can make an individual, tax-deductible donation instead of purchasing a ticket.  Please know that we prefer items that can be auctioned (see ideas and best sellers), but we also accept individual and corporate cash donations.

Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in helping out with the auction, please contact Vicky Brey or Caroline Price.

Here's how to get started:
Take a copy of our Business donation letter and Donor Form and go in person to your favorite local restaurant, hotel, children's sports program or local business and ask them to make a donation to our school. Donations can be delivered to the homes of Caroline or Vicky on or before, February 22, 2008. Please check with Vicky or Caroline to make sure we have not already contacted that local store  or business.  You can also see the list of businesses who have already given a donation for Fantasy Island on this web page.

 Auction “Best Sellers”

  1. Planning a “class party”: Get to know your Springer community and have a good time!
Plan it for the whole family or for the adults in your class only, e.g., host a dinner party or social gathering in your home or choose another location (a club, a park, a bowling alley, ice skating ring, etc.).

Have everyone in your class come! (e.g., a BBQ for the families in your class at a local park)
Organize your event before or after May, the last month of school (keep in mind how hectic it can get towards the end of the school year.
Or…
  1.   Donate a trip or a weekend get-away.
Do you own a vacation home? Can you donate a weekend retreat? Vacations and trips are the most popular auction items. Please keep in mind that most of us appreciate flexibility on traveling dates.
We also encourage individual or corporate donations: services, share talents, goods, etc.
