Wrapping Paper
Sally Foster
sells high quality giftwrap, gift items, gourmet foods and
chocolates. The company donates 55% of sales to the Springer
PTA. The fundraiser will begin on Friday September 1st with
packets coming home with the children. All orders need to be
returned on September 22nd. Orders will come in before the
Thanksgiving Holiday and will be delivered to the classrooms for your
child to take home. On line orders are easy and an
excellent way to have extended family participate. On line
orders are delivered to the buyer directly.
*On September 22nd there will
be
an all school Ice Cream Social to celebrate a successful fundraiser.*

Entertainment
Books will be on sale from August 25th -September 8th. The
books need to be returned to the child's classroom if they are not
going to be purchased for $25.00. You can order on line and
for anywhere in the country - a great gift idea! This also is
a Springer PTA fundraiser, we encourage your participation.

for Springer at
no cost to our school and no added cost to the shopper. Schoolpop

Up to 20% of every

goes directly
back to Springer. A quarterly report is sent to the school listing the
total
purchases made during that time period and the amount of money raised.

complete
privacy statement on file with TrustE. You can choose to not have your
name

Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling
Cartridges for Kids is an
innovative
fundraiser that pays Springer cash for empty inkjet, laser, fax and
copier cartridges and used cell phones. This is a year-round program.
The primary goal of the program is to provide environmentally friendly
fundraising that is safe, educational and pays cash to Springer PTA to
fund projects that are a priority. Secondly, the
program’s aim is to provide service and support to those
who
want to recycle empty printer cartridges and used cell phones. It is
currently estimated that over 250 million pounds of empty cartridges
are thrown into our landfills annually and this figure continues to
rise. Recent reports suggest that by 2005 there could be as many as 500
million cell phones headed for our landfills. Together, with empty
cartridges, this transforms into about 200,000 tons of waste which is
significantly reduced by recycling. Participation in CFK is beneficial
for both Springer and the environment. Get your neighbors,
relatives, and businesses to donate their cartridges and cell phones to
Springer! Bring them to Cartridges for Kids box in the main office.

Boxtops for Cash
The Labels for
Education/Boxtops for Education program is a great way to earn FREE playground
equipment and CASH for Springer
School!!
Participating is easy — simply save the symbols shown below from
participating products and send them to school.
Campbell's labels:
Campbell's
labels get Springer new playground equipment. Each label is worth one or
more points and we get to purchase from a catalog with our points
BoxTops:
Each boxtop is worth at least 10¢ EACH for Springer School!!!
If every student just brought in 20, that's almost $1000 of cash that we can
apply to whatever Springer needs!
TO DO:
1. Cut out Boxtops & UPC symbols NEATLY. [Make sure Campbell's UPC include the
Labels for Education logo.]
2. Ask your friends and family to collect boxtops and Campbell's UPC symbols on behalf of our
school!
3. Drop all Boxtops and Campbell's UPC symbols in the collection box in
the Springer office.
