Springer

The Springer Star Newsletter is published every Thursday during the school year. The Star is the official newsletter of Springer Elementary School, Los Altos School District and is dedicated to promoting education, communication and parental involvement. The Springer Star is delivered by email through the Springer Office. If you aren't receiving the Star Newsletter and would like to be added to the distribution, please inquire at the Springer Office about being added to the e-mail distribution list. If you don't have email, you may request a printed copy in the office.

You may also get a printable PDF version of the Star in the Archive section of this page. The printed version includes all forms and fliers for your convenience.

Submitting to the Star

To submit information to the Star Newsletter, please observe the following procedure:

Send submissions by email to springer_star@yahoo.com.
Deadline for all submissions is Monday at 12:00 pm for inclusion in Mr. Spenader's weekly Star Newsletter email.
No paper submissions, please.
Submissions should be short, around 3-5 lines or 250-500 characters long. If your submission is longer than that, create a short "teaser" to include in the email version of the Springer Star Newsletter.
The published submission or teaser can have links to other documents, such as a full-length article, a flier, or a form. Please indicate where to insert links.
The short or teaser submission should be simple text. Bolding is OK, but no images, tables, lists, or indenting.

Linked in documents should observe the following guidelines:

Use plain text, pdf, or MS word formats.
Documents with graphics must be in a pdf file.
No quicktime graphics.
