Letter from the Principal
August 26, 2010
We’re off to a hot start!
Whew! It was HOT on the first day of school. We were treated (?) to the hottest day of the summer. But despite the heat, we had an excellent first day of school. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, the kids were in class from the get-go and ready to learn.
I want to welcome everyone back to school. A special welcome goes out to all of our families who are new to Springer this year. I think you’ll find that this school community is a very special place.
Back-to-School Night is this Tuesday:
One of the most important events of the year is just days away. We will host our annual Back-to-School Night on Tuesday, August 31st. Teachers will present information on curriculum, procedures, and style - all in 30 minutes. Please remember that this is an informational evening and teachers will not have time to discuss your individual child’s progress at this event.
